Don Davies is a portrait photographer based in Manila, Philippines. He started photography in 1994 when he purchased his first camera a Canon EOS 500. However, it was not until his younger daughter started taking ballet lessons that he really got serious in photography, taking photos of their ballet recitals, and even doing the portraits of the dancers for the programs. This was when he really got interested in doing portrait photography and realized that this could be his calling being a portrait photographer.

His passion for doing portrait photography encouraged him to hone his skill by attending workshops and collaborating with other well-known photographers. He is also trying his hand at landscape and travel photography and hopes to also get into this genre of photography one day.

He conducts workshops on portrait photography and lighting. Currently, he is an ambassador for Godox lights and promotes other photography equipment.
